March 1st, 2012Lodge Endowment Fund
Traverse City Elks Lodge #323 established an Endowment Fund a few years ago to have a vehicle by which the Lodge can support the youth of our community, mainly through a scholarship program. The fund is managed by the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation. In order for the fund to generate sufficient interest to support these programs, significant principle is required. The fund is capable of accepting individual donations or bequeaths. All contributions to the Endowment Fund are to a 501 (c)(3) entity and are therefore eligible as a charitable donation on your federal income taxes. If you would like to make a contribution to this very worthwhile fund, please contact the Secretary’s office at 231-946-6171, ext.3. Your donation would be greatly appreciated.
